Labor estimates from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (Employer Costs for Employee Compensation, US data only), adjusted by state wage index and your Benefits setting. Build and care-plan figures are planning estimates per platform, the build includes physical customization (grippers, payload tooling, sensors) for your task, and your fixed price comes from the requirements chat in your private build messenger. Power: average draw for the selected platform at your state's commercial electricity rate. Payback = one-time build ÷ monthly savings after care plan and power. Two assumptions to pressure-test in the requirements chat: the BLS wage is an industry average (your frontline rate may be lower, so pick your real range), and the model assumes the robot matches one worker's output, which is exactly what mock-up testing proves before your second payment. 24/7 robot coverage uses rotating hot-swap packs (a ~2-minute swap every ~2 hours for humanoids, done by your team) or self-docking charge cycles for quadrupeds, spare packs and docks are included in the build price, not extras. Humanoid battery-swap labor is charged at your hourly labor cost: 12 swaps/day × ~2 min ≈ 146 hrs/yr of your team's time, it's in the robot's yearly, 3-year, and payback numbers, because pretending it's free would be lying. "Outside the US" uses US-average labor and power as placeholders, set your real loaded rate for accurate numbers, and we'll run your local figures in your build messenger. We ship worldwide. Humanoid columns have a "+ pair" button: it doubles build, care, and power but zeroes the swap labor, the two units are programmed to rotate through charging so one is always on the clock, with no single point of downtime. Quadrupeds don't need a pair; they dock themselves. Pick your loaded $/hr range to override the BLS estimate with your real payroll number. Human turnover line: ~50%/yr frontline turnover × ~$5,000 replacement cost across 4.4 workers ≈ $11,000/yr, a conservative estimate; overtime and vacancy coverage still aren't counted. Unitree's consumer models, for example, don't allow custom software, which is why their EDU editions are shown. Requirements over messenger, then a written quote
A free 30-minute call to gather requirements, what the robot needs to do, how often, on what floor, with a straight "no" right there if it won't pencil. If it will, we review your site, on us, and firm everything into a written quote: one fixed price, fixed spec, fixed dates, and the best robot for the job, from any maker. Unitree, Boston Dynamics, or another maker: whichever platform wins for your task, the quote says so.
You sign the quote, the deposit locks your slot
You sign the quote and pay the deposit, 40% of your fixed price, the same progress payment any custom equipment builder takes. The full schedule is 40 / 40 / 20: 40% now, 40% when your unit passes testing, and the final 20% only after it succeeds in a 30-day pilot on your floor. This first 40% has one job: it buys your hardware and puts our team on the plane to get it.
Hand-picked at the factory
Our team takes delivery in person, wherever your robot is built, Hangzhou for Unitree, Boston for Boston Dynamics, wherever the best machine for your job comes from. Your exact unit is inspected and burn-tested at the source before it's crated. You get photos and serials, not a tracking number from a broker.
Freight, customs & security check
We handle the freight and paperwork, and for imported builds, duties and tariffs are already in your fixed price, never a surprise line item. On arrival, every unit is wiped, firmware-audited, and network-isolated before it touches our shop floor, whoever made it.
Built & customized in California
Straight talk: every robot ships knowing how to move, not how to work. Out of the box, whoever built it, it's a remote-control machine. This step is where our team writes your robot's job using the maker's developer toolkit (the SDK): how it sees, what it does, and when it stops for safety. When it leaves our shop it runs the task on its own, nobody standing there with a controller. It proves that by running cycles on a mock-up of your station until it hits the spec numbers, with progress video every week. The second 40% is due only when it passes those tests, before it ships, never before it works.
Delivery & install
Crated, shipped, installed on your floor, and run alongside your team while we tune it to the real station. Nothing is due at delivery.
Pilot, then your last payment
A 30-day pilot on your floor against success criteria we agreed on in the spec. Hit them and the final 20% is due then, and only then, converting to production at a known monthly cost with maintenance, parts, and uptime on us. Miss them and you're not stuck with it: you owe nothing further and we take the unit back.
